Amazon Rumored to Be Starting Production on Kindle Fire 2

Rumors have it that Amazon may be starting production of Kindle Fire 2. If true, then it should be available quite soon.

“Rumors abound regarding the Kindle Fire 2, the next-generation Android tablet from Amazon that will allegedly feature a larger screen size in the nine to 10-inch range.

“While there is only speculation about a possible release date, a recent report claims that chassis-maker Catcher Technology received orders from Amazon for a new Kindle Fire tablet.”  (Read more at Mashable)

Chinese Writers Demand Apple Pay For Piracy

A group of Chinese writers have filed a claim against Apple, alleging that the company’s App Store sells unlicensed copies of their books and seeking 50 million yuan (7.9 million U.S. dollars) in compensation.

The claim, filed on behalf of 22 famous writers, involves 95 books that have allegedly been sold as pirated copies on Apple’s App Store.
